Read selected Kiraya game guides in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French or English.
Open KirayaPublished guide languages
Kiraya currently publishes selected reading guides in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and French. These pages explain the game in the reader’s language; the live game interface remains English.
Language pages are written for their readers
Each language version has its own page metadata and language annotations for search engines. New languages should be added only when their guides and in-game experience can be supported well.
Why the game itself is still English
Translating reading guides is straightforward; translating a live game is not, because every rule prompt, log line and error has to be right in context or it actively misleads someone mid-decision. Publishing guides in a language whose in-game experience we cannot support well would be worse than not publishing them, so the guides are translated and the interface is not yet. In practice the board itself carries most of the meaning — prices, colours, owner markers and the rent on each tile are numbers and symbols rather than words — so a group who share a language can play together comfortably while reading the rules in theirs.
