Guided practice creates a private game with an easy bot. It uses the same board, dice, deeds, auctions and decisions as a regular game. The tutorial is optional, so you can close it and return whenever you want.
What it teaches
- Movement, Start salary and turns.
- Buying, passing and auctions.
- Property sets, rent, houses and hotels.
- Cards, taxes, trading and mortgages.
What guided practice does not do
The tutorial never plays for you and never blocks a move. It watches what is happening and offers a pointer when something new comes up, and you can close it whenever you like and keep the game. It also cannot make the bot go easy on you beyond its difficulty level, so a game you lose in the tutorial is a game you genuinely lost. Progress is remembered in your browser, so closing the tab does not mean starting the lessons again.
