Join a Kiraya room with a code
How to create, share and join a private Kiraya game room using its five-character code.
Open the gameCreate a private room
Choose Private game from the home screen. Kiraya creates a five-character room code and a shareable link. Private rooms are not listed in the public directory.
Join a room
Open the invitation link or choose Room code on the home screen, enter the code and your display name, then join.
If a room cannot be found
Rooms are temporary. A finished room, an expired empty lobby or a server restart can make an old code unavailable. Kiraya clears a stale link and returns you to public rooms.
A code is an invitation, not a password
A room code identifies a room; it does not authenticate the person typing it. Anybody you send it to can pass it on, so treat it like a meeting link rather than a secret. Codes are also temporary: rooms live in server memory and a finished game, an emptied lobby or a server restart can retire a code, which is why an old link can stop working. If a code is refused, the room has usually ended rather than the code being wrong.
