A free multiplayer property board game, live in your browser
Real-time multiplayer for 2 to 8 players: public rooms with strangers, private rooms with friends, phones and laptops on one board, and bots for empty seats.
Play onlineEveryone on the same board, live
Kiraya is played in real time. Every player's browser holds an open connection to the game server, so a roll, a purchase, a bid or a trade offer appears on everyone's screen as it happens, and the server is the only thing that decides what a move did. Nobody keeps the bank and nobody can edit the money on their own screen.
Two kinds of room
| Public room | Private room | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can join | Anyone browsing the room list | People with the link or five-character code |
| Listed publicly | Yes, with host name, map and seats | No |
| Best for | Finding a game when your friends are busy | Game night with people you know |
| Starts when | The host starts it | The host starts it |
Either kind holds up to eight players, and the host can fill empty seats with bots before starting.
Mixed devices, one table
A room does not care what each player is on. Phones, tablets and laptops sit at the same game, and on a phone the board is laid out portrait so the squares stay readable. There is no app to install for anyone, which is usually what stops a group game from starting.
When the connection drops
A disconnected player keeps their seat for about a minute, which covers a backgrounded phone or a wifi blip. If they do not return, a bot can take over the seat so seven other people are not left waiting. A turn timer does the same job for someone who is connected but has wandered off.
What multiplayer here does not include
- Matchmaking by skill: there are no ratings, so a public room is whoever is waiting.
- Friends lists or invites inside the game: you send the link through whatever chat you already use.
- Saved games: a room lives in server memory and ends when the last player leaves.
